Bikram Yoga is an effective calorie burner?
Recently I started doing Bikram Yoga (sometimes called Hot Yoga). This 90-minute class in a warm room at 110 F. The class is painful and I feel my heart leap from my chest at times. I made very close to this type of exercise, and that gives it that touch satisfying at the sense of finality. However, need to lose 20 pounds so you must be a calorie burner! He wanted to know if someone has already done this type of training and received burn calories for hard data, like using a heart rate monitor. I saw all types of online statistics 400 to 900 per hour CAL licenses. Does anyone have something solid? I do 90 minutes per session 3 times a week.
I studied yoga for 10 years and have attended a Bikram. I do not rely solely on the kind of Bikram for weight loss. How many of you have had a week 5? 3? 1? Continue to take the class (I like to stretch provides deep heat), but increase with other activities, if you work 45 minutes per session 4-5 days a week. Add a couple more if you can.
