Yoga With Weights
I wonder if anyone has lost weight by doing yoga only 5 times a week along with a low cal diet?

What weight? What program you do yoga? How long did it take?

I almost did exactly that. I lost 40 pounds divided about 6 months. The first three months was not following a low cal diet, I ate 1500-1600 CAL per day. I do yoga (power yoga, 1 h) 3 times per week and ran 2x per week (1-1.5 miles each). I lost 20 kilos in that time. Then I went on vacation for a month, has no number of calories or exercise but not weight gain. When I returned, I started exercising again. This time I eat 1200-1300 calories per day, attended a 4 (sometimes 5) classes in power yoga a week and only ran an average of once a week (1-1.5 miles). Reset 20 pounds over the past two months. I truly believe that yoga combo Power + Low Cal Food wonders. I have seen differences in my body (appearance and strength), then Only a month ago. I do not think the course was really something to do with him, was minimal, and I come from British Columbia from time to time I envy. I'm no math I lost .5-1 pounds more per week for the last 2 months in the first 3. Part of what they eat less, but these sorts of power yoga workouts burned more than I did run. And the last 2 months I have been 1.2 training sessions and yoga exercises besides running less per week, compared with the first 3 months. And I I have been very flexible. As I said before on Y! A, I was so flexible that the economy plane seats were comfortable. I could only bend and be comfortable. :-) I really have to get back to doing yoga regularly!
